Alumna Emily Carmichael was recently featured by The Mary Sue. The women's website created a video documenting her rise "From Indie to Blockbuster." Carmichael recently co-wrote the script for Pacific Rim 2 and is directing the live-action adaptation of the comic series Lumberjanes.
