Grad Film Alum Jess X. Snow was recently interviewed by Robin D. G. Kelley for The Criterion Collection, entitled "To Become the Sky: A Conversation with Jess X. Snow".
Snow discussed their four films that are currently featured in The Criterion Channel, including Safe Among Stars, Little Sky, I Wanna Become The Sky, and Roots That Reach Toward The Sky.
They also spoke on their journey as a filmmaker and their artistic viewpoints.
"Before I went to film school, I made no-budget experimental documentaries and narrative films. For my MFA in film I attended New York University, where I sharpened my technical and narrative storytelling skills," Snow said in the interview.
