NYU Game Center Lecture Series Presents Chris Plante

Video game journalism is more effective, amibitious, and diverse than ever before. So why do both readers and journalists alike often predict the form’s impending demise? In this talk, Chris Plante, co-founder of Polygon and current host of The Besties and Post Games, will provide a guided tour through 50 years of games media. Guests will also have an opportunity to ask questions about how games media (and media at large) actually works.

Chris Plante is the host of Post Games. He also co-hosts The Besties, one of the longest-running and most beloved video game review podcasts. He previously co-founded Polygon. His work has appeared in The Verge, The Guardian, Vulture, and The New York Times.
