Anjali Moorthy is a US-born, India-raised filmmaker-performer with a BFA in Film & Television from NYU Tisch. As a South Asian multihyphenate, Anjali aims to use her background in film, music and dance to make musical theatre more accessible through her films. She's worked on projects that have screened at Tasveer Film Festival, Pan-African Film Festival, and New York Shorts International. Anjali is committed to a vision of effortless, normalized representation in cinema, and wants a career in entertainment to keep her inner child alive and well.
