Shihan Tan, GRAD

UNDER HER SKIN

Shihan Tan is a director and cinematographer based in New York and Beijing. She was born in Beijing, graduated from University of St. Andrews with a psychology degree (MA) in Scotland, and is currently studying at NYU Tisch School of the Arts as a Grad Film candidate.

Carrie Tang, GRAD

Carrie Tang is an MBA/MFA Dual Degree candidate and Ang Lee Scholar in NYU’s Tisch Graduate Film Program. A filmmaker working between the U.S. and China, her previous works have screened at the IFFR and film festivals worldwide.

Jett Tessaro is an award-winning writer and director based in Los Angeles and Arizona. He holds a BFA in Film & Television and a BA in English Literature from NYU. Jett is currently in production on his feature film, All the Wild Horses. He is managed by Range Media Partners.

Hector Valentine Jr (or Jr if you know him) is a filmmaker from Jamaica, Queens. He is now in his final year studying Film & Television at Tisch School of the Arts. Growing up, he desired to tell science fiction and monster stories, but, as he has refined his craft, he has become equally interested in telling stories centered on exploring complex relationships between real-world characters.

Muhil Vaseekaran, UG

Muhil Vaseekaran is a filmmaker who recently graduated from NYU. He co-founded the production company Trustfall Studios with three peers and primarily works as a freelance colorist. He’s directed numerous short films and a feature film which is currently in post production.
