This spring, Tisch Drama is thrilled to partner with SheNYC Arts, led by Artistic Director Danielle DeMatteo, to offer an exciting new Student Artist Fellowship opportunity. SheNYC Arts, a champion of gender equity in the arts, is producing an off-Broadway run of the highly anticipated new musical Chasing Grace, premiering in March 2026.
The program provides participants from the Department of Tisch Drama’s Women’s Mentorship and Gender Expansive Mentorship programs with invaluable, hands-on experience by allowing them to work directly with and shadow the seasoned producers and creative team behind Chasing Grace. Fellows will gain practical skills and industry knowledge that will equip them to confidently produce and create their own work in the future.

Student Fellowships at Tisch Drama are designed to prepare students for professional careers in the arts by offering direct exposure to the inner workings of live theatre production. By partnering with SheNYC Arts, the Drama department provides students a unique opportunity to learn from experienced theatre professionals while contributing meaningfully to a major off-Broadway production.
