The Tony Awards Administration Committee met on November 9 for the first time this season to decide the eligibility of Broadway productions for the 2018 Tony Awards. The committee announced, among other decisions, that ITP Alum and Adjunct Professor Andrew Lazarow will be eligible alongside David Rockwell for Best Scenic Design of a Play. The two worked together on Michael Moore's The Terms of My Surrender which ran from July - October and announced a tour in the summer of 2018. As there is no Tony award for video, the nomination is one of the rare cases where a video designer is granted eligibility.
ITP alums Kat Sullivan and Aaron Parsekian worked as assistant video designers on the Broadway production.
