Gal Nissim is a multidisciplinary ScienArtist from Israel, based in New York. She creates at the intersection of Art, Science, and Technology.
She graduated summa cum laude from the Hebrew university of Jerusalem in 2014, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science and Biology. Her studies focused on the research of humans' visual memory and bats' navigation. Currently, she is a Masters candidate at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program.
Her work explores the twilight zone: the in-between of fiction and reality, beauty and ugliness, attraction and disgust, art and science.
