Laura Juo-Hsin Chen, 陳若昕, is an artist who enjoys realizing fantasy, with hybrid virtual reality, animation, doodle, and lots of handcrafts. Laura is interested in offering portable and approachable experience, thus not only to The Metropolitan Museum of Arts and NYC Media Lab’s Annual Summit, she also brought the projects to World Maker Faire and Google Street Faire, to public. Her recent project is MASK, a collection of virtual reality masks that explore ways to change self identity.

Laura received a BA in Finance from National Taiwan University, and a Master’s Degree from the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) in Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. She currently lives in New York as a resident research fellow in ITP, and is thinking about making more VR masks.
