Join us at ITP in welcoming Alumni Rui Pereira and Kuan Huang!

We recognize that navigating life after ITP graduation can be challenging for ITP's alums -- so we have invited two successful ITP graduates to share their stories and address questions. International students maybe be particularly interested in this event as both alumni are international graduates!

Rui Pereira is from Portugal and is an adjunct faculty member at ITP.

Since an early age Rui has enjoyed taking things apart to build new toys. In the past Rui has built his instruments for Vj’ing, worked as an Interaction Designer for IDEO, collaborated in low-cost, open source eye-tracking devices and led R&D at Havas Innovation Lab.  He is currently a Creative Technologist at Google’s The ZOO, a creative think tank for brands and agencies.

Kuan Huang is the founder of Poncho, a New York based company that makes weather fun again. Poncho is among the first few bots launched on Facebook Messenger at F8 2016. Since then, Poncho has been covered by almost every major media in US and numerous international media. Poncho started as a weather service that pushes sassy weather and commute updates to people at the time they request. Recently, Poncho starts expanding to other daily content vertical.
