GMTWP Alum Carmel Dean (Cycle 12)
RENASCENCE, a new musical about the poet Edna St. Vincent Millay by GMTWP alum Carmel Dean (Cycle 12) and book by Dick Scanlan, will receive its world premiere by Transport Group Theatre Company this October and November.
The musical will use the poems of Millay as lyrics for the songs as well as follow Millay, who lived one hundred years ago, a hundred years ahead of her time. The production will be directed by Jack Cummings III and Dick Scanlan.
