Karishma Dube and Jovan James at Outfest
The Outfest Los Angeles Film Festival 2017 announced its awards over the weekend and Grad Film community members took home some top honors.
Goddess won the Grand Jury Award for Best Narrative Short. The short was directed by thesis student Karishma Dube, produced by thesis student Jovan James, and the director of photography was thesis student Zamarin Wahdat.
Alumnus John Trengove directed the film The Wound, which picked up the International Grand Jury Prize.
Adjunct Professor Eliza Hittman was awarded Best Screenwriting in a U.S. Feature for her film Beach Rats.
