Sam Helfrich, Design for Stage and Film Associate Arts Professor and Head of Dramaturgy, along with the Salzburger Landestheater, have been awarded an Austrian Music Theater Prize in the category of "Best Contemporary Opera Production" for Helfrich's production of Angels in America!, by Hungarian Composer Péter Eötvös.
Helfrich's Angels in America featured costume design by alum Kaye Voce ('94), and set design by alum John Farrell ('92).
