Call it what you will—The Big Apple, The City that Never Sleeps, or The Concrete Jungle—but it’s impossible to deny that New York City has one of the most unique flavors of any city around the world. In this city built upon a foundation of originality, the bubbling music scene is at the absolute forefront of music innovation.
This week, we’ve teamed up with Von, an NYU student at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, whose curated a playlist full of rising NYC musicians to jam out to. Titled, “Shop Local: NYC”, this playlist is a sonic homage to the city we call home. Check out the full feature here.
