On September 18, social advocacy organization, Global Citizen, curated Global Citizen Live! with a pre-reception hosted by the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU Skirball.
The evening was joined by world leaders, leading activists, and some of the world’s greatest artists for a concert to celebrate the impact achieved by millions of Global Citizens.
Annie Lennox was awarded the 2nd Annual George Harrison Global Citizen Award, a humanitarian honor for individuals who have demonstrated excellence and sustained commitment in music and activism, blending art with advocacy for social good impact.
11 students from the Clive Davis Institute joined Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine), Annie Lennox, and various other talent, on stage as the Freedom Choir.
