NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts has been helping high school students prepare to study the arts once they graduate with their Future Artists summer program.
It started 30 years ago with their Future Filmmakers program, and over the years has included various programs including Future Music Moguls, Future Dancers and Dancemakers, as well as 5 other Tisch Arts Programs. For 14 Saturdays, the program meets every spring with classes that depict what it's like to attend NYU.
At Clive, the program emphasizes the importance of being a creative entrepreneur and learning what it takes to record, then strategize, market, and release music.
