Join us for our first ReMu Talks of the spring semester featuring Ledisi, a 12-time Grammy-nominated R&B icon – the night before the 60th GRAMMY Awards come back to NYC after spending 15 years on the West Coast. This year Ledisi is being nominated at the GRAMMYs for Best R&B Album for "Let Love Rule," Best R&B Performance for "High," and Best Traditional R&B Performance for "All The Way."

In conversation with Clive Davis Institute's very own Jason King, Ledisi will talk about her musical journey, creative influences, and what's been going on since her first visit back in 2003 when the program had just launched.

Verve Recording artist Ledisi is a twelve-time Grammy-nominated vocal powerhouse who has wowed fans ever since she came onto the scene. In 2008, she received a Grammy nod for "Best New Artist,” as well as performed eight times at the White House for President and Mrs. Obama, and earned a place in the pantheon of the best soul singers of her generation.
