Global Citizen Live! and Movement Makers

Global Citizen Live! and Movement Makers

From Sept. 17-23, Global Citizen is turning New York City into a arena of advocacy, with dozens of events and activations uniting Global Citizens to learn, take action, and see world leaders commit to deliver a world without extreme poverty by 2030.

Monday, September 18

On Monday, September 18, join world leaders, leading activists, and some of the world’s greatest artists at Global Citizen Live! for an evening to celebrate the impact achieved by millions of Global Citizens.

The evening will celebrate the artistry and humanitarianism of Annie Lennox with the presentation of the 2nd Annual George Harrison Global Citizen Award - given by Global Citizen and The Harrison Family to an artist that exemplifies George’s legacy of combining art and advocacy for impact. Tom Morello and Dhani Harrison will also be joining us again this year, along with host and musical director Paul Shaffer, to lead a unique program of musical collaborations and performances.
