ReMu A&R Sessions | Hollywood Records

On November 1st, students of the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music will have the opportunity to pitch their original songs and get feedback from Hollywood Records A&R Director, Jake Simon!

Jake Simon began working in music in 2009 at Universal Music Publishing Group, after graduating from NYU where he studied Jazz Performance and Music Business. From there, he went on to work at BMI in the Writer/Publisher relations department working with writers and artists such as Emily Warren, Chloe Angelides, Betty Who, Parson James and X Ambassadors. He then returned to his hometown of Los Angeles where over the next few years he would work in A&R at Atlas Music Publishing, return to Universal Music Publishing, then make his way to Hollywood Records/Disney Publishing where he currently serves as Director of A&R. He has helped land placements, released and forthcoming, with artists including Eminem, Chance The Rapper, Daya, Gryffin, Illenium, Zedd, Lindsey Stirling, Why Don’t We, H.E.R., Marsha Ambrosious, Elley Duhe, and more.
