Art and Public Policy Professor Anna Deavare Smith will deliver the 73rd A.W. Mellon Lectures in the Fine Arts at the National Art Gallery!
In this four-part series, she will continue to explore performance as a way of knowing about others - and herself - with a new lens. “Chasing That Which Is Not Me/Chasing That Which Is Me” will run on Sundays from April 28th to May 19th, and was created as a sequel to her 2015 Jefferson lecture in the humanities, “That Which Is Not Me.”
