Letters from Baghdad, co-directed and edited by Sabine Krayenbühl '90 (BFA, Film & TV) opens in theatres on June 2nd in New York City the Angelika Theater and Lincoln Plaza, followed by LA on June 9th and more cities to come.

Letters from Baghdad tells the extraordinary and dramatic story of Gertrude Bell, the most powerful woman in the British Empire in her day. She shaped the modern Middle East after World War I in ways that still reverberate today.

The film won The Audience Award at the 2016 Beirut International Film Festival.
