Landing Up tells the story of a girl with nothing to lose and everything to hide. Chrissie and Cece play a con game with strangers to put a roof over their heads while all the time fantasizing about their dream apartment. When Chrissie meets David, a funny, genuine, guy who works his way into her heart, she falls for him, and must decide whether to confess the real circumstances of her life or continue her lie at all costs. Even the cost of someone's life.
The film is written and produced by Stacey Maltin '07 (BFA, Drama). She also plays the role of Chrissie. The film also features alumni E'Dena Hines '11 (MFA, Acting), Jay DeYonker '10 (BFA, Drama), and Jon Lavranos '14 (MFA, Acting).
The film premieres in NYC on Saturday, June 17th
