The Gotham Film & Media Institute announced the nominations for the 35th Annual Gotham Awards on October 28, 2025. The Awards provide critical early recognition and media attention to worthy independent films and series and their writers, directors, producers, and actors. Nominees are selected by committees of film and television critics, journalists, festival programmers, and film curators. Separate juries of writers, directors, actors, producers, editors, and others directly involved in making films will determine the final Gotham Award recipients. Winners will be announced at a ceremony on December 1, 2025.
Congratulations to the 5 Tisch alumni who received 6 nominations for their work on 4 projects. See the Tisch nominees below and the full list of nominees here!
