Biography

Nat Ward (b. 1983) is a photographer and poet whose work has been recently featured in Le Œil de la Photographie, Vogue, Aperture, and Cultured Magazine. His work is held in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the Guggenheim Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Parrish Art Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, and has been exhibited internationally since 2008. He has been an artist in residence at Yaddo, The Edward F. Albee Foundation, The Sharpe-Walentas Studio Program, and The Wagon Station Encampment at AZ West with Andrea Zittel. His book of photographs, Ditch: Montauk, NY 11954, was released by powerHouse Books in July 2025 and accompanied an exhibition of the project at the Montauk Historical Society’s Second House Museum for the summer of 2025.
