Daniel Heffernan is a multimedia artist and designer for theater and live performance whose work has been exhibited throughout the United States and in Europe. Design credits include Mindgame at the Soho Playhouse, Pericles at the Utah Shakespeare Festival, This Wonderful Life at the Capital Repertory Theatre in Albany, NY and The Glass House at the Clurman Theater (Innovative Theater Award nominee for Design). Heffernan has received numerous grants including the Creative Links grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. He received his master of fine arts from New York University and his undergraduate degrees in Political Science: Concentration in International Relations and French Literature from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His most recent video art work was exhibited in the spring of 2016 at the White Box Gallery in Portland Oregon. Heffernan lives and works in New York City.
