Christopher Ciancimino

Christopher Ciancimino is a screenwriter, development executive and dramaturg with over 20 years in the film industry. He began his career at 2-time Academy-Award winning production company Portobello Pictures, working as Head of Development, before moving to New York to attend NYU's Graduate Film Program. From there he co-founded Woodshed Entertainment (Brief Interviews with Hideous Men, The Normals) with classmate Kevin Connors and wrote and produced the feature adaptation The Normals.
Christopher is currently co-writing a feature for Ley Line Entertainment and was recently appointed Director of Creative Affairs at film and television finance and production company Closer Media. He lives with his wife (cinematographer and fellow NYU Grad alum Kat Westergaard) and their two daughters.
He is a member of the Writers Guild of America.
