Giselle Vázquez

Giselle Vázquez, Program Director, has been with the Grad Acting Program since 2015. She was born and raised in Puerto Rico and is a native Spanish speaker. Giselle moved to New York state to earn a Bachelor's degree from Syracuse University and, then, to New York City to earn a Master's from NYU. Prior to working at Tisch, Giselle was working in NYC in the fields of production and marketing for companies such as MTV Networks and Hungry Man Entertainment, among others, as well as training and performing as an actress and singer.

As Grad Acting's Program Director, Giselle works in close collaboration with the department Chair to implement the artistic vision of the program. On a daily basis, she oversees all departmental operations especially in relation to our academic curriculum, faculty, staff, students and industry relations.

Giselle also serves on the University Senate and is the Tisch Administrative Management Councils' Senior Unit Representative.
