Jessica Watt

Previously an Australian attorney specializing in corporate fundraising, upon moving to the U.S., Jessica found her home in higher education, landing at Columbia University. There, she served as the Senior Executive Assistant to the Dean at Columbia Law School for over seven years. As one of the Dean’s most trusted working partners, she became a critical node of collaboration and information sharing across departments and stakeholders.

To obtain a deeper understanding of the nonprofit higher education sector, Jessica earned her Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies, where she developed a specific interest in fundraising strategy, specifically grant and proposal writing.

Jessica now looks forward to adding her diverse knowledge and skillset to the Tisch School of the Arts development team as a Senior Development Associate, helping to ensure the continued success of this preeminent institution.
