Steven Young

Steve Young is an award-winning comedy writer, author, and entertainer.  For 25 years, he wrote for David Letterman's "Late Night" and "Late Show" programs.  He also wrote an episode of "The Simpsons" and a Matt Groening-produced animated Christmas special, "Olive the Other Reindeer."  Recently he has written for HBO’s “Night of Too Many Stars,” NBC's "Maya & Marty" variety show and Harry Connick Jr.'s show "Harry."  He is the co-author of "Everything's Coming Up Profits: The Golden Age of Industrial Musicals," about the little-known musicals staged at corporate events, and is featured in an industrial musicals documentary premiering in spring 2018 with David Letterman as an executive producer.  The book is also being developed as a narrative film at Amblin with Marc Platt producing.
