Anita B Daniels
Director, Finance and Administration
Anita began her career at NYU in 1981. Prior to joining the Department of Drama, she worked in the Bursar and Purchasing departments, where she gained experience in budget and finance. As the Director of Finance and Administration, Anita is responsible for multi-million-dollar, multi-fund budgets in one of the largest departments in the Tisch School of the Arts. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the department.
She provides leadership and strategic direction for all financial and operational functions and oversees the department’s finance and accounting. Anita has experience in all aspects of financial forecasting, resource allocation, fund management, strategic planning, accounting, and control for several divisions in the department. She was the recipient of the NYU Tisch School of the Arts Distinguished Administrator Award in 2016. Anita is a New York University alum.
