Victoria Hart

Victoria (Vicki) Hart is an Associate Arts Professor at NYU Tisch School of the Arts’ Department of Drama and the founding Director of the Meisner Studio, where she has served as Head of Acting for over two decades teaching the Meisner Technique and directing 25 productions with her students. She was the head of BFA Acting at Rutgers, the State University, Mason Gross School of The Arts, teaching and directing there for as many years before joining the faculty at Tisch Drama.

She taught Meisner Technique for 10 years at the William Esper Studio and was a guest artist at North Carolina School of The Arts (Gerald Freedman) over several years, where she taught the Meisner Technique and directed each year in their department.

She wrote The Meisner Technique, in The Training of The American Actor, edited by Arthur Bartow, former artistic director of the Drama Department.
