Kenta Yonesaka

Kenta Yonesaka is a Grammy nominated recording engineer based in New York City. As chief engineer of Germano Studios | The Hit Factory New York, his credits include G I R L (Pharrell Williams), At. Long. Last. ASAP (ASAP Rocky), DAMN. (Kendrick Lamar), Burning Bridges, This House Is Not For Sale, Bon Jovi 2020 (Bon Jovi), The Divine Feminine (Mac Miller), Unvarnished (Joan Jett and The Blackhearts), Pentatonix (Pentatonix), and The Blues is Alive and Well (Buddy Guy). Kenta is a chameleon in the studio, working with artists across all genres like The Rolling Stones, Frank Ocean, Future, Travis Scott, Mariah Carey and Slick Rick, along with film and tv projects such as The Many Saints of Newark, Marvel's Luke Cage and Saturday Night Live.

 

Kenta has been working with Sony as an early tester for 360 Reality Audio, their new immersive multi-channel audio format. Recent projects in this format include immersive re-mixes of Joan Jett and The Blackhearts' greatest hits.
