Emily Williams is a music marketer based in New York City and VP of Marketing at Ansatz Music Group, a music marketing and strategy group founded in 2021. With over a decade of professional experience across the artist management and record label spaces, Emily's passion is collaborating with independent artists to build sustainable and successful careers.

Prior to joining Ansatz, Emily was a marketing executive at mtheory and Downtown Records, where she led marketing strategy across diverse artist rosters. Emily is proud to have worked with a slate of incredible independent acts over the course of her career including Milky Chance, Chet Faker, Cold War Kids, Tkay Maidza, Petit Biscuit, and Tei Shi.

Emily has lent her expertise to a range of conferences and educational outlets, including Spotify for Artists, BIGSOUND, Halifax Pop Explosion, Go West Bureau, Duke University, and NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.

She graduated from the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music with honors in Music Entrepreneurship and Music Marketing and is an active member of the Institute's Alumni Council.
