Alumna Chloé Zhao will be directing the new Marvel film, The Eternals. Zhao has been a rising star since her film, The Rider, premiered to great acclaim at Sundance last year and garnered her an Independent Spirit Award.
The Eternals is based on a series of comics by Jack Kirby that follow cosmic beings called Celestials, who genetically engineered super-powered humans millions of years ago, and the war that ensued between the good super humans and the evil ones.
