Congratulations to Karen Herwono ('23) for being accepted into the LAIKA Studios ("Coraline" "Kubo and the Two Strings") Stop Motion Summer Internship Program. This is a highly competitive program that accepts only a small number of interns each year. There she will be mentored by some of the greatest stop motion artists working in the industry today.
Karen Herwono is a stop-motion and hand-drawn animator from Massachusetts. She is presently completing freelance projects and developing her skills. When not animating or drawing, she is reading, watching films, hanging out with her two cats, or needle felting something cute and fluffy.
