Mark Crowell

Mark began working at NYU in 2024. Previously, he spent a decade managing the BFA Film Department website at The School of Visual Arts. He has a BFA in Film and an MFA in Social Documentary from The School of Visual Arts, and directed his documentary thesis film on The Slipper Room, an iconic Lower East Side burlesque venue. You can find him in room 911 and is always happy to discuss movies, music, and most of all, his elegant tuxedo cat named Irving.
