Jake Posner has spent over a decade at the forefront of the music industry, championing artists, songwriters, and producers with an unwavering commitment to the philosophy of “music before business”. Guided by integrity and passion, Jake founded The Culture Theory, a management company dedicated to supporting creatives across genres and styles. Jake has navigated the industry's complexities while building meaningful alliances among creatives and executives alike. His genuine intentions and ability to empower those around him have established him as a magnetic and influential force within the community.

A proud native New Yorker, Jake’s official break into the music industry came in 2015 while working at an ad agency, where he discovered the then-unknown band A R I Z O N A on Reddit. Within just five months, Jake secured the band a deal with Atlantic Records/APG, spearheading efforts that helped propel them from online anonymity to global acclaim. With the support of an incredible team, Jake proved to be a driving force behind the band’s debut album, which amassed over a billion streams and led to performances on the main stages of Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Bonnaroo, as well as a world arena tour with Panic! at the Disco, stopping at iconic venues including Madison Square Garden, STAPLES Center, and The O2 Arena. Beyond their touring success, Jake facilitated boundary-pushing collaborations for the band with artists such as Avicii, Robin Schulz, Louis The Child, Sam Feldt, and Galantis, helping expand their global reach and cementing their reputation as innovators on the world stage.

Jake further honed his expertise as Senior Vice President & Head of NY at Hallwood Media, where he advocated for the writer/producer community under the mentorship of Neil Jacobson, former President of Geffen Records. At Hallwood, Jake strengthened his management ties, developing songwriters and producers while facilitating and A&Ring major creative collaborations. Known for his exceptional taste and keen ear, he contributed directly to records for Kygo, Julia Michaels, Bella Poarch, Lil Uzi Vert, and many more, cementing his reputation as a creative force in the industry.

Now, as The Culture Theory enters its 10th year, Jake continues to oversee the careers of a select roster of talent, helping them unlock their full potential through tailored management strategies and a deep understanding of the creative process. Additionally, as a burgeoning tech entrepreneur, Jake is focused on building modern solutions that level the playing field for all music creatives, empowering them in ways not yet possible.
