Students in the Tisch Drama StageWorks production of "Dinner at Eight." George S. Kaufman and Edna Ferber's 1932 comedy of manners celebrates (and satirizes) the lives of the rich and stylish during the Great Depression, but it also conveys darker currents that ran through the upper echelon of New York society of that era, as they do today. Each StageWorks season, students present theatre that illuminates and reflects their experience and time.
