For a production of "Born Bad," a dramatic portrait of a family living with poisonous secrets, student scenic designer Frank Oliva created “a fractured, pressured world,” where the characters were confined to their surroundings and had to face the matter at hand, with no where to run or hide. Said Oliva: “The sharply defined, raked wood floor was encased by massive, concrete pylons and a caving ceiling that allowed the audience to feel the enormous weight felt by the family with their not-so-little secret.”
