My grandmother’s battle with early onset alzheimer’s confused me throughout my teenage years. The fleeting memories I have of her are something I want to retain the most. My grandfather, who I was equally as close with passed in 2020 and was our only inlet into the life they shared together. Two and a half years later my grandmother passed and in the medium of photography, I aim to display all aspects of their influence, love, and memory that has remained with me. Both of them were idols to me in their own separate ways, and these photographs represent this irregular feeling of a relationship I want to hold on to.
