"In this work I will bear witness to this life. A life lived by those who needed to be torn from the wreckage of this society. Multiple societal failings ordered my path into the military. It was in fact a deal with the devil himself. A vicious patriarchal container that bought me for cheap all according to their plan. With my lens I will tell the story of what I saw in this all American hellscape. With intention and bravery I will share an incredibly personal story exploring the chaos and madness of uniformity and what queer identity instigates throughout my experience. The price I paid was higher than I ever imagined. By recreating some of my memories as an Airman as well as my life as a veteran, I will tell this story of survival.
