Personas is a photographic study of contemporary, youth fashion throughout the cities of Paris, New York, and London. Due to the endless amount of media consumed by young adults in the 21st-century, it becomes difficult for individuals to formulate their own sense of self or style. These photographs open up a variety of conversations surrounding young adults and their daily interactions with identity, influence, and introspection.
While some fashion choices throughout this series may not be the most glamorous or outrageous outfits, each subject expressed their truest self regardless of whether they are headed to a black-tie event or to the supermarket. This series explores the connections between self-expression, creativity, and emotion for young adults living within three notable, international cities in 2022.
