Wish You Were There
This project is straightforward and simple. The photographs were not embellished and designed. They mean to tell the most natural form of the world we see. For me in the most time, the world is chaotic, turbid, and even nauseous. But sometimes, I do find serenity.
The project is more than its visual presentation and characteristics; it extends to connect on an emotional level with the viewer. My goal in my shooting process was finding serenity, searching for an escape and finding a space where all my stressors and negative emotions slip away. The title “Wish You Were There” indicates a hope for the viewer that they can find the same solace I do in these images, if at least one if not none.
