In the 5th Century B.C. Hippocrates first used the word ,hysteria, to describe a disease he believed to have originated in the uterus. Since then the word, hysteria, has been used as a gendered, umbrella term for all that is wrong with women. The images and letters in this series serve as a safe space for non-men to bring awareness to and discuss what it is like to live in a society that continuously prioritizes men.
