Yasmine Cadet is a Harlem based dramatic writer.
As a Black Woman and first-generation American, she strives to create pieces that bring women of color to the forefront and display all the layers of their narratives.
Her work includes: the plays Drown and The List, the screenplays 29 to Life and The 20-Year Engagement, and the television pilots Lost Girls, You (,) Again, Ana the Great, and Banana Splits.
Yasmine recently completed her MFA in Dramatic Writing at Tisch. While at NYU, she was awarded a Tisch Scholarship, Goldberg Department of Dramatic Writing Department Scholarship, and the Dalio Family Foundation Scholarship.
