Max Nova: Live Video Performance Art
Max Nova, a graduate of New York University’s Film and Television program, currently runs a production company out of Brooklyn entitled, Dawn Of Man. He won Best Short Film at the 2009 Castle Rock and Estes Park Film Festivals for his NYU thesis film, The Shaman’s Apprentice, and the 2008 Warner Bros. Post Production award for his advanced-experimental film, The Bystander Effect.

After graduating NYU, Nova began developing a career as a video artist, and VJ, performing a live mix of original video art for events and concerts around the world. Nova’s video projection art has been featured in galleries such as the PhotoLA art fair in Santa Monica, and the MoMA in Manhattan.
