Contemporary Ink is about reinterpreting traditional art practices with modern technology, using digital photography and post-processing to produce abstract imagery. In the works, I reference the main principles of Chinese ink-wash painting practices, specifically that of focusing on atmosphere rather than narrative content. The project considers how the modern digital photographic approach can serve as a unique method to express a subtle interpretation of mood.
