“GAME OVER” is a 3 part video project which focuses on the nuances of the relationships formed in video games. Video games have been an integral part of my life since a very young age, where I have developed friendships, romances and healthy support systems. It is tiring seeing much of the conversations surrounding video games not including the voices of those who have spent enormous amounts of their time playing video games. There is a misconception that this space only allows for the cultivation of dangerous interactions and negative experiences. The video game world is not unlike the real world and many great memories and bonds can also come out of it. Many of my friends I’ve known for 6+ years I met online playing the games, and I thank them for inspiring this project and allowing me to share their stories. “GAME OVER” is your exclusive look into the video game world that occasionally spills into reality.
