Raven Malouf-Renning is a queer, nonbinary, neurodivergent dancer, choreographer, and musician who honed their craft in the San Francisco Bay Area and is a newcomer to New York City.

Their research interests lie at the intersection of disability, neurodivergence, queerness, and the role of inclusive performance in individual and community healing. Their work has been shown all across the San Francisco Bay area as well as in Sacramento, Santa Monica, Performance Space New York, and La Mama Theater. Creating raw, honest art and empowering others to do the same is at the heart of their artistic and spiritual practice.

Why PS @ NYU?

The Department of Performance Studies feels like it was tailor made for people like me! Artistically, my work encompasses multiple media: dance, theater, writing, music, and more! I have an insatiable curiosity about the world around me and consider myself a compulsive researcher, and I deeply look forward to bolstering years of practice based inquiry with a healthy helping of praxis.
