DESCRIPTION:Join us at our first Salon Series event of the school year! This workshops will be led by Shivani Joshi this workshop is an exploration of two Indian dance styles side by side. Together, we will learn the difference between classical and folk dance by learning the historical, practical, and social uses of Bharatnatyam and Garba.  This workshop is beginner friendly, but will invite you to move around your space as we explore the movement in these two styles, so come prepared to move!
